There are many guild mates requesting to be part of the guild nest team. First of all, i like to express my appreciation for trusting and partipation in the guild.
Why join guild nest team?
The advantage is building team synergy that will help you alot especially when 8 man sea nest is out, from my experience in mmorg, most pug party will be unable to complete the 8 man sea nest when it come out. It's more fun when you party with people you already know for some time. You got better chance of getting the loot that you need. Imagine trying to roll for a magican plate with 7 other party members(although they don't need it). With guild nest, we try to help members to get first prioty loot for their build (eg. physical build cant roll for magical stuffs).
So why take so long to set you up in guild nest team?
1) Coordination and timing - Some people cant commit to a timing (they give replies like maybe i free or i think not. Imagine you're the coordinator, you wanna count this player in?). If all 4 have the same problems, then the setup is extremely difficult.
2) Class combination - Right now the guild have too many warriors, we wanna have a good mix of classes to clear nest more effective.
3) Attitude/Skill/Gear- This is the most interesting part.
- Atttitude - Some people late or forget for guild nest making his teammates wait for ages without any apologise or assurance(If you find this unsincere teammates always wasting your time, do you still wanna party with him?)
- Skill and Gears - There are some who are lack in both areas but wanted to be nest team. The question to ask yourself is "do your team mates wanna share loots with you when you contribute so little"). *There was 1 incident when a guild mate(he had left guild) ask me to let him join the nest team. He's a lv40 wearing lv40 rare +6 to 8, epic lv40+6, ruby accessories, all failed potential. As always, Hydra never reject a guild mate due to his gear (i believe maybe he got skill), after a few runs with him, i realised that he was a liability to team, the worst part was he got all the good loots, which cause me to receive alot of pm from team mates that it's not fair to them. So i have to be the bad person to reject him from the party. The rejected player get angry and told me that he joined the guild so that we can help him in getting the loots, if not why he join guild. So if you were me or his party mate, how would you respond?
How to get into guild nest team?
We have perfect example of players in team 2(zero,derp,mx,metal) to show you how.
Case 1: When i first met Zero, he was way under gear. Many veterans were skeptical of me bringing him in Cerb nest then But he prove himself to be very skilled (know how to dodge boss attack very well) and won the heart of all the veterans in guild. And he's very humble too. After that, many veterans keep asking me to bring him in their team and volunteer to gear him. He's now one of the most geared member.
Case 2: When Derp started out, he was rather inexperience (keep dying). But now he prove himself to be most improve (no more dying and deal highest damage) and one of the best player in guild .He's also one of the most geared member.
Case 3: MakatoXyun is easily one of the nicest and well like player in guild. Although he started with less than average gears, but his skill and attitude is what many like to seek. He's very team player based player constant look for improvement, always bring smile to team mates.
Case 4: The1st run i had with Metalkurel, i fall inlove with his skill play. This player know what he doing in fight. Despite after bad impression of making everyone wait for hours for arranged time, he sincerely apologise to all and assure us. And we all love him after that.
Other Cases: Kipfy. Doing nest with him the early days, i gotta admit i totally written him off. Under gear and constant deaths. But now he show me ever improvement in every party we had, with great attitude u gotta like this guy more and more. Sidano is another good player to watch out for, constant improving and humble attitude, if only he had no constant dc issue i'm sure he's asset to all team. 9thAngel is one the funniest guy i meet, with his fancy skill, u will love this guy in no time, just need to be more experience and geared up.
