Good new to those who cant clear manti/apo nest. After discussion with all the seniors in guild. We have decided to reserve 1 of each mode of nest limit to help u guys clear those nest. All you have to do is approach or ask in guild chat and provide nest ticket to those whom u seek help, and we will help you kill the boss and leave party( so we won't used up our nest limit) when boss die. Also we will guide you hand in hand on how to clear the nest more effectively, so that next time u clear it on your own.
Cheers for all the senior who help =)

Hydra Apocalypse Nest Guide

It sadden me when my guild mates told me they cant clear this nest. So i written this guide to greatly increase your chance to complete this nest. This guide is meant for those who w/o good gears and yet need more shortcut to complete this nest. At this point, my acrobat is wearing a full blue gears =)

Requirements to start the nest:
1) Do your rare/blue gear to at least +8 with HP prefix ( u should have 4 pieces of HP with 1 up to your choice). Weapons min +8 any choice.
2) All members of your party should have minimum (not average not highest, is the least amt in your weapon) of magic/attack power of 2k and HP >30k. Why? At 11th minute, Apo boss gonna 1 hit kill you, there no way to run unless u have invulnerable skill, you need the damage to kill this boss before 11th minute mark.
3) Team setup: 1 Clergy for heal, 2 high damage user and 1 useful buff. Damage take EL follow by BM. Buff can take Merc/Acro/FU.

Found the team? Let's start!. I am not going through all the bosses. If u cant make it on 1st and second boss leave the nest immediately, it mean u not suitable for it yet.

The bosses sequence for normal mode: Boss 1: White Soul--> Boss 2: The Death God who fears the Light (L)--> Boss 3: 5 Black Smoke Brothers (L) -->Boss 4: Giant Wisp (L) --> Boss 5: The Iron Skin Ogre (L) --> Boss 6: Thunder Beast --> Final Boss: Apocalypse

The bosses sequence for normal mode(For strong team, clear faster mode): Boss 1: White Soul--> Boss 2: The Death God who fears the Light (L)--> Boss 3: 5 Black Smoke Brothers (L) -->Boss 4: Giant Wisp (L) -->  Boss 5: The Fallen Bull Captain (R)--> Boss 6: Thunder Beast --> Final Boss: Apocalypse.

The bosses sequence for hell mode: Boss 1: White Soul--> Boss 2: 8 Black Smoke Brothers (L) -->Boss 3: Giant Wisp (L) --> Boss 4: Skeletal Cow (L) --> Boss 5: The Death God who fears the Light (L) --> Boss 6: Thunder Beast --> Final Boss: Apocalypse.

I just gonna highlight the important points in the nest.
Boss: 5 Black Smoke Brothers (L)
ALWAYS Focus fire on the 1st black boss that appear among them. Just push him out of the group for easier identity. No ultimate skill require here.

Boss: The Iron Skin Ogre (L)
Easy stage just need to position yourself right. Clergy and warrior try to draw aggro by firing some skills, the rest should be quiet and walk only. There 2 ways to open up the hole on the wall. Either u damage it down or use the boss to bang it down. Latter is prefer due to mana consumption. The boss will charge at u first before turning down his head to knock u, this knock can help u knock the wall down. If you not drawing the boss attention, pls do not stand near the hole, i see so many players always like to stand near the hole for no reason and take dmg. In hell mode, Boss will charge at aggro player, then throw fire ball and follow by knock up.
If you not drawing the boss attention, pls do not stand near the hole! i repeat!
Boss: Skeletal Cow (L)
This can be really simple if everyone know what they suppose to do. When Boss in red shield kill blue mobs, When Boss in Blue shield kill red mobs to down boss shield. Refrain from using AOE skill, use single target skill to kill the right color mob to avoid respawning of when u kill wrong color. Use all your buff and ulti on first boss first shield down, its has biggest time frame. For those with HP gears you can always put yourself at the thorn brushes to replenish your health.

Boss: The Fallen Bull Captain (R)

Save your buff and
ulti until boss left 1.5 bar. Why? When he left 2 bars, the mobs keep keep respawning around him and he will keep shooting lethal shots. Kill him asap at that point. Keep moving at close distance around boss to avoid his direct gun and also the shotgun from mobs around you.
Boss: Thunder Beast
This boss have high crit resist, archer dun waste yr crit buff. Most of the time boss will start with running, try to stay just behind him to avoid the side blue balls.
Those who hold aggro, dun be jerk to move in circle and get yr teammates killed. Try to move in cone infront of boss or stop attacking. Whenever he shake his head, he gonna fire a laser bolt infront of him, just tumble away if u hold aggro.
When Boss left with 2 bars health, always stick very close to him. All player should reserve 2 big burst dmg skill(eg. multishot/amour break/stomp/ulti) to save team mate when they get hug and when boss trying to regen his health to 2 bar back. If he try to hug u, just tumble or fast run away. Paladin can divine avatar. If you get hug, dun panic, keep pressing double roll and meanwhile press escape and click escape current location. Dun always work but u have 50% chance of surviving.
Final Boss: Apocalypse
Many cant survive here, so i gonna touch more on this boss hell and normal mode:
1) Starting move quickly to boss as he will bomb the ground. stay slightly to his chin left or right. He will fire a laser at his front/back and diagonal 4 directions.
2) At 4 health bar he will fire a laser beam 360 degree. At this point to not push him to corner, always lure him to middle. Do not stand in the pink area on the ground when the laser rotation start, it rubber band you to laser itself. Always look at his tail and back to look out for the incoming spin. He will store his tail to the top side before he spin around.
3) When he left with 3 bar, he do jump and pounce 3-4 times, just follow his jump, when he about to hit ground, u jump up.
When boss left with 2 bars he will come out various interesting skills.
First of all, he will release his tentacles, these grabbing mobs must be priory to clear, no question ask, all must involve to clear them first.
Then he will come out pink explosion on ground, stop whatever u trying to do and move around to avoid the pink spots.

After some time he will come out a pink aura around him. How to avoid death there? Look at the sky and look for this:
The word in the middle mean crab in chinese
The centre is the apo boss. Pink area is instant death, red area will take out 3/4 of your life. Stand in white area to avoid all damage.
Still not clear what i saying?
Look at the above  picture. credit to Ashern for finding me this picture.
Last of all, try to clear the nest within 11 minutes and dun wait for your teammates to see whether they can clear anot, especially if u die within 3mins mark. Make yourself useful and other will like you more. Make yourself useless and soon you are lonewolf. Hope this will help you guys.

Best of luck ^.^v

Dragon Nest's Mentorship System

If you’re an experienced adventurer who knows the world of Dragon Nest like the back of your hand, then we need you! The new Mentor System will let you take that hard-earned knowledge and pass it on to the next generation. If you’re level 40, you will now be able to take on lower-level pupils and help them learn the ropes. Naturally you won’t have to do this without some compensation. In this relationship, both student and teacher reap great rewards!
-Becoming a Mentor-

Becoming a mentor in Dragon Nest is simple. Once you reach level 40, you can become someone’s mentor by advertising in the Social Window or by sending an individual request to a prospective pupil.

Advertising:

Advertising will make your name available for low level players to see you in the Mentor tab on the Social window. Anyone interested can send you a request to be their mentor.

To set up an ad:
-          Open the Social Window (O) and click the “Mentor” tab.

-          Click on “Share Intro” and type an introduction in the window.

-          Click “Enter.”

You are now available to become a mentor!

Personal Request:

Some mentors like to take the old-fashioned personal approach. If you meet up with a likely prospect:

-          Left click on a low level character and click “Request.”
-      A request will be sent to the player. If the player accepts, they will now become your pupil.

Mentor Benefits
-      While in a dungeon with your apprentice, your Power points will not be consumed.
-      While in a dungeon with your apprentice, your equipment durability does not decrease.
-      Mentors receive various gifts and titles as their pupil reaches certain levels and completes certain achievements.
-Becoming a Pupil-

Any player between the levels of 10 and 39 (SEA is Lv30 max) may become a pupil. Simply look for a mentor’s advertisement in the Social Window or send an individual request to a prospective teacher.

Answering an ad:

-      To look for a mentor’s ad, open the Social Window (O) and click on the “Mentor” tab.
-      Select a player you’re interested in and click “Request.”
-      A window will appear with details about that player (including their name, level, class, how many alumni they have and more).
-      If you wish to take this person as mentor, click on “participate.” A request will be sent to the player.
-      If they accept, then they will become your mentor!

Personal Request:

-      Left click on a character you would like to be your mentor and click “Pupil Request.”
-      A request will be sent to the player. If the player accepts, they will become your mentor!

Pupil benefits:
-      You will receive gifts and titles as you reach specific levels and complete certain achievements.
-      You will receive 10% bonus EXP when you run a dungeon with your mentor.
o   If you have more than one mentor, you will receive an extra 10% EXP bonus for each mentor you run a dungeon with at the same time.
o   If you run a dungeon with your mentor and another of his or her pupil, you will receive 5% Bonus EXP for every one of your peers in the dungeon.
-      When you reach level 40, you graduate from “pupil” status and become an “alumni.”
-      Once you reach level 40, you may separate from your mentor and take on pupils of your own!

-Respect Points-

Mentors gain respect points each time they try to help pupils run a dungeon. These points are displayed in Social Window mentor ads. Mentors with lots of respect totals tend to have better reputations in the game and have an easier time finding pupils.

-Friendship points-

Every time a mentor helps a pupil complete a dungeon, they will earn a certain number of friendship points. The more friendship points a mentor has, the better the rewards both mentor and pupil get when the pupil hits level milestones.

Important notes:
-          Mentors may only have three pupils at a time
-          Players must be level 39 or below in order to become pupils.
-          Pupils may only have up to three mentors at a time
-          Players must be level 40 in order to become a mentor.
-          Pupils must meet the requirements of any dungeon they enter with a Mentor.

-REWARDS-

Get ready for some of the most rewarding Dragon Nest relationships you’ll ever have!
